Gustaf Brandberg
General Partner
Gustaf is one of the three brothers running Gullspång Invest. He is a co-founder and general partner at Re:food.
Before joining the family office, Gustaf was co-founder and CEO of a software consulting firm working with the Swedish tech unicorns Spotify, King, iZettle, and Klarna as they grew from startups to category-defining companies.
Gustaf holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology from Uppsala university. and has been trained by the Stockholm Resilience Centre, Singularity University, and Harvard Business School.
At a leadership program at the Stockholm Resilience Centre in 2014 where Gustaf learned about planetary boundaries and the power of paradigm shifts. He decided to wholeheartedly back entrepreneurs with transformative innovations and strategies to reform our food system into a prosperous and regenerative state.
In 2015 he invested in Oatly and Mat.se, and in 2017 he backed Nick's at their Swedish launch. In 2020 he met Peter Odermark and together they set up Re:food.
When not thinking hard about root cause problems in the food system and meeting stellar entrepreneurs solving them, he is a family junkie who enjoys running, hiking, reading, cooking, and being inspired by other thinkers and cultures.
